Navy blue from indigo is an inescapable color in enamel. It is the classic blue of enamel craftsmanship, and it's very similar to the blue tone of traditional Portuguese tiles. Together with white or cream, or in the company of lighter shades of blue, it always looks sober and elegant. However, it does combine well with Yellow, Ochre, or even Orange, for a bolder take.
